Types SC 330U and 330US

The types 330U and 330US machines are microprocessor controlled thermal cutting and sealing machines designed and manufactured in Denmark.

They have been produced specifically for the efficient cutting and heat sealing of synthetic strip materials up to 60mm wide.

They can be used wherever there is a requirement for accurately cut lengths with sealed ends. An extractor fan is built into the machine for exhausting the fumes generated by the melting material.

The machine can measure and cut small or large quantities of strip materials. The minimum length which can be cut is 60mm, and the maximum is 99.9 metres. The machines produce consistently accurate lengths with high quality cuts. Frequently used lengths can be stored in the machine’s memories available for this purpose.

The machines are portable weighing approximately 25Kg. They can be mounted on a table or bench and require a 220V or 240V/50Hz mains supply.

Setting and programming the machine is easily carried out as follows:

1. Mount the reel of strip material on the reel holder and thread it through the guide bars and into the knife guide.

2. Turn the machine on.

3. Set the knife temperature and time delays to suit the material to be cut.

4. Programme the length required

5. Programme the quality required.

6. Press the Manual Cut Button to establish the start datum.

7. Select either 90 degree, 45 degree or alternate cut angle.

8. Press start button

The machine will now measure and cut automatically and when the batch is complete or the material exhausted, the machine will stop and sound an alarm. The production rate achieved will depend upon the length to be measured and the properties of the particular material to be cut. The SC 330 US machine is the faster of the two.
